This past weekend was a basketball junkie paradise in Las Vegas, Pangos Sweet 16 was in town. 24 of the Top 100 Independent programs got it on, Las Vegas Represented themselves very well, this west coast event gave young people the opportunity to Showcase their talent in front of College Coaches. In the Top 24 Invite Showcase Las Vegas had 4 of the 12 Teams that played in the Showcase, other states that were Represented was California, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, and New Mexico. Familiar names and faces showed up and showed out, and new faces were seen and some even made a name for themselves. The class of 2018, 2019, and 2020 had some young fellas that really played well, that young man from Simply Fundamental c/o 2020 6’3 PG Daishen Nix Basketball IQ is very high for his age, young man is not flashy he just made plays. You can see quiet Confidence in his game, he’s very skilled, very smart, and strong. That’s hard to find these days in a Point guard. He’s DEFINITELY ON THE RADAR! SOME OF VEGAS YOUNG BEST!!IMG_7238

Yesterday I watch Vegas Elite 2018 play twice, the more I watch the more I was impressed with c/o 2018 5’9 PG DJ Howe, young man plays the game the right way. He’s quick, and plays very good defense, he showed he can make the 15 ft. jump shoot that is very important for his sizes. But more importantly he can pick up 94 feet on the defensive end, that is a must if he plan on playing at the NEXT LEVEL!! JUST REAL TALK!!IMG_7205.JPG

I have heard people say what position will this young fella play at the next level, tell you the truth he will play somewhere. At 6’6 c/o 2019 PF Antwon Jackson of the Las Vegas Prospects, feet work is very good he’s a space eater. This past weekend not to many players could handle him, young fella just made plays!! Young Man Played Very Well!!


C/O 2019 6’6 WF Jalen Hill of the Las Vegas Prospects is showing many people way he is one of the Top Prospects in the c/o 2019 in Las Vegas young man played LIGHTS OUT!! The two games I seen him play he was physical on the glass, and attack the rim with bad intentions!! This young man has a lot of upside!! SOME OF VEGAS BEST!!IMG_7319.JPG

Vegas Elite 2018 team played very well this pass weekend, c/o 2018 6’3 Guard
CAM BURIST played above the rim all weekend. He ran the floor and played very good defense, young man also knock down open jump shoots. Sometime all you need is just an opportunity!! Young fella played well!IMG_7254

Set with my man Trevor Diggs Former UNLV player, he was talking to a few Colleges about one of his players, they really like his on ball defense, they said he was very aggressive. Day 2 had one coach say he was the best on ball defender in the Showcase. At 15 years old, this young fella is making a name for himself c/o 2019 5’11 PG Najeeb Muhammad of 702 Attack 17U. This young man has the tools to be a very good player, he can shoot the ball, handle the Rock, and make his teammates better. No doubt he is one of the Top 5 players in his Class in the City of Las Vegas. c/o 2018 6’6 SG Jamal Bey of Vegas Elite is playing with a lot of confident, this pass weekend he played great defense and made plays in transition. His pull-up game was working and he made defenders pay on the offensive end. One of the Best players in the State of Nevada.. IMG_7190.JPG

Can’t lie this player is fun to watch played with a broken nose and didn’t miss a beat. Old School throwback player, with some SWAG to his game. c/o 2018 6’4 SG Trey Woodbury is the Business!! Jump Shot was on, attack the basket very well, and played good defense. IT WAS A GOOD WEEKEND FOR THE YOUNG BALL PLAYER!IMG_7030.JPG

Call this young fella the smooth operator c/o 2018 6’5 SG Maka Ellis of Vegas Elite is becoming a very hot name on the west coast. Young man have a nice pull-up game and he can put the ball on the floor. Played very solid this pass weekend, his stock is going up you better HURRY!! The Line Is Getting Long!!IMG_7273.JPG

One of the most consistent players in the Pangos Sweet 16 was unsigned c/o 2017 Je’rell Springer of 702 Attack 17U. This young man played very well on the offensive end, making key plays in front of scouts all weekend. He is a very good Slasher and finisher at the rim. His Stock is good up!!IMG_7136.JPG

Vegas Elite 2020 team is one of the best in the country, the team chemistry is fun to watch, ball movement is off the chart. If you have not seen them play you are missing out  on real team basketball. A LOT OF GOOD FUTURE PROSPECTS!! SOME OF VEGAS YOUNG BEST!!IMG_7292.JPG

c/o 2017 unsigned senior 5’11 PG Capri Uzan of 702 Attack 17U is a player that is tough and is not afraid of high level competition. This unsigned senior have the ability to make plays, he’s very physical for his sizes. Nice jumper and play good defense.IMG_7178.JPG

The Last Two weeks Las Vegas have been treated to finals that consists of two Las Vegas Teams. Bigfoot Hoops last week and Pangos Sweet 16 this week, Simply Fundamental took on Vegas Elite 2018, to make it short and sweet it was a battle of will power and on this Day Simply Fundamental just had more!!
