It was a lot of Basketball going on in Los Angeles this past weekend, you had two of the three Major Circuits in town Under Armour and Nike EYBL.. CP3 Memorial Day Classic and Compton Magic Festival also was getting it in!! Las Vegas is becoming a hotbed for talent on all levels, and at the Compton Magic event lets just say, some players were making a name for themselves.

ORANGE, Calif.–  This pass weekend gave Capri Uzan of 702 Attack/Desert Pines HS, a chance to Showcase his talent. The 5’11 PG did not disappoint anyone he had a 30 point outburst against Inland Basketball club and showed he can get to the basket and finish in traffic. He followed up his 30 point performance with a 15 point game, 5 assist and 5 rebounds. He help 702 Attack go 3-0 in pool play, and Advanced to bracket play, in a lost to EBA Pharaohs he finished with 20 points and 3 rebounds. Up to this point he is still an unsigned senior and a very good Prospect out of Las Vegas. PS Don’t Sleep!!

ORANGE, Calif — 6’9 PF Orlando Robinson of the Las Vegas Knicks/Centennial HS is becoming a very good prospect in Las Vegas, young man played well at the Compton Magic event. I had an opportunity to see a few of the Knicks games, young man Rebounded well and knock down the Mid-Range jump shoot, he has improved over the last two years.

ORANGE, Calif — Let’s just say the Vegas Elite program have really made some noise this Spring, they have added some key additions to their 2018 team and 2020 team, 6’5 Guard Maka Ellis have come in and made his presence felt. More responsibility was placed on his shoulders this past weekend with the absence of 6’4 SG Trey Woodbury. Maka played very well overall knocking down open jump shots, and finishing at the basket.

Overall Vegas Elite ran into some problems this past weekend going 2-3 in Battlezone the miss of 6’4 SG Trey Woodbury really hurt, he was sidelined with an ankle sprain.. Vegas Elite played the Big Ballers and pull out a 93-89 Victory, even though the highly recruited c/o 2019 Lamelo Ball gave them a 50 piece!!

ORANGE, Calif — Overall the Las Vegas Knicks Played well, team chemistry was good and players made plays. Unsigned senior 6’3 SG Isaiah Banks, still available this prospect is someone who is looking towards to the Live Period.

ORANGE, Calif — This past weekend was tough for the Las Vegas Punishers they had a tough pool, game 1 put them up against Cal United. Turnovers killed them in game 1. This team has a lot of talent, but chemistry is something that you need in order to compete in these types of tournaments. They finished 0-4, now is the time to prepare and regroup for the Live period in July.

In the 16U Division Las Vegas was represented by M’pyre, LV Punishers, and the LV Knicks. M’pyre went 4-2, LV Knicks 2-3, and LV Punishers 1-3

In the CP3 Memorial Day Classic, Vegas Elite 2020 Team came to play, with the new addition of 6’9 PF Isaiah Cottrell, just adds more depth to an already very good team. This is the #1 team in the Country, and have some of the best young talent at this age category in Las Vegas. It the end of the Day Vegas Elite took Home the title in the 16U Division, By defeating CP3 Team. SOME OF VEGAS YOUNG BEST..

The live period should be Fun in July!! By the way it’s, Vegas All Day!!!! We Rep Our City!!!
