Ty Rodgers of Grand Blac high is a 6’6 small forward. He averaged 12.9 points for a team that had five players score at least 200 points and average in double figures while playing one of the toughest Division 1 high school scheduled in Michigan. Just the average high school basketball fan may not be familiar with Ty Rodgers. 24/7 sports have him nationally rank #65, and #2 rank player in Michigan, class of 2022.
Rodgers is an explosive athletic wing, quick off the bounce, he pressures the defense in transition and gets to the rim with consistent results. He can play with his back to the basket, or step out on the perimeter and knock down the mid-range shot.
Ty can break down defenders and find the rim, keep defenders honest with his range out on the perimeter. He has active hands as a defender, defense court awareness, And all around player on both ends of the court.
