Around The Country In 2 Minutes, Next Up: 2022 4 Star Mark Armstrong

Over the years New Jersey has produced its share of talented basketball players. Players like Isaiah Briscoe (Roselle Catholic), Reggie Cameron (Hudson Catholic), RJ Cole (St. Anthony), Michael Kidd Gilchrist (St. Anthony), and Kyrie Irving (St. Patrick) are just a few players that represented the tri-state well.

According to 24/7 Sports the Class Of 2022 Top 5 player’s out of New Jersey are all guards. Let’s Take a Look At 6’3” combo guard Mark Armstrong of St. Peter’s Prep (NJ). Last season Mr Armstrong average 19.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.1 steals pre game.

Mark has good size for a guard and moves very well. He plays with pace and has the ability to switch gears when attacking the basket. His Perimeter skills are above average, coming off screens Mark has a Silky smooth release with his jump-shot.

This young man is an intelligent basketball player with an above average Basketball IQ. He’s extremely effective in transition. Mark has the ability to push the ball in transition finding teammates for easy baskets. He can score from all three levels. His shooting range extends beyond the three point arc.

On the defensive side of the ball Mr Armstrong can be disruptive. He has the ability to pick up 94 feet creating turnovers. Armstrong has good court awareness, quick hands causing deflections in the passing lane. He is a very effective on-ball defender.

There will continue to be an uptick in his recruitment. He has receive offers from Kansas, Creighton, St. John’s, Rutgers, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Seton Hall just to name a few. This man is definitely a player to Watch. He’s a winner!
