Around The Country In 2 Minutes, Next Up: 4⭐️ Bryce McGowens

As I continue to canvas the landscape of high school basketball around the country. I have realize there are talented players in every region. For me personally as a father, it’s not about evaluating players. I have created time for myself to find out more about the level of play from different players in every region. For the last few weeks, I have been following the southeast region.

This past weekend at the Super 6 Showcase in Spartansburg South Carolina. I had and Opportunity to see 2021 6’6” wing Bryce McGowens of Reform Sports (SC). Being from the West Coast I didn’t know too much about Bryce. He definitely let me know that he was a talented player with a lot of upside.

Bryce McGowens

In 3 games, the Florida State commit averaged 18.5 points per game, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. Bryce can manufacture shots in his mid-range game all the way out to the arc. At 6’6, Bryce creates problems with his size & length on the defensive side of the ball.

Bryce can be a problem in transition, he can handle the ball coast-to-coast and finish through traffic. On Day 1 of the Super 6 Showcase I found out right away Bryce could score with the best of them. What jump out right away was his intensity on defense. Bryce made a conscious effort to rebound, and get out in transition and make plays. Mr McGowens is going to make a nice addition to the Florida State program. 24/7 sports has Bryce rank number 44 Nationally, and the #1 player in South Carolina.
