2021 6’8” Josh Minott out of Boca Ranton, Florida, gave us a glimpse of his ability to be a high major recruit. Josh, may not be a household name on the West Coast, but he’s definitely a player that is high on some college coaches recruiting board. In 2 games, for Team Parsons FL (CP25 Red) Josh went to work with his versatility as a wing player.
Josh is an athletic wing, who can deliver consistently in transition. At 6’8” Josh can impact a game on both ends of the floor. He has the ability to manufacture shots; and be explosive off the dribble. Josh is a skill wing that can get out in transition and score on the break. His size create mismatch problems for his opponents. In his first game against Atlanta Hoops he did a little bit of everything. He average 15 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 7 blocks, and 2 steals.
Josh, can rebound and attacks in uptempo. He can distributes on the fast break. Josh has good court vision for his size. He’s an agile wing that brings size and versatility to the front court. Josh runs the floor like a guard, and protect the rim like a big man. To be honest what is it not to like about this young man. He gave me a glimpse of his potential, and I love it!
At this current moment; Rivals sports has Josh, rank 25th amongst small forwards in the class of 2021. He is being Recruited by Baylor, Florida State, Maryland, Memphis, and Texas just to name a few.
