I had an opportunity to go back and watch film on 2024 6’3” 165 pound Khalil Green of Stratford Academy. This young man has an opportunity to be very good with continued reps in the gym. Khalil is still developing physically as a player. He shows signs of having a body frame that can absorb contact through traffic.
Khalil has a good feel for the game. He understands where he needs to be in crucial moments. He’s athletic and explosive and has the ability to play above the rim.
Khalil demonstrates good mobility and lateral movement. He’s an active defender that can create deflections and steals resulting in transition buckets.
Khalil has not scratched the surface of his potential. His mid-range shot will continue to improve over time. His ability to get in the lane and create plays will make him even more effective in the long term.
At the current moment, Khalil is receiving interest from Auburn and Georgia. We will continue to track his progress over the next few years.
