We wanted to take a step back from the high school basketball season. And take a look at some of the top freshmen on the collegiate level. We consider this our college edition to “Unit 1 Hoop Source News.”
We can all see that Adam Miller has attack the start of the season at a high-level. The 6’3 180 pound guard is definitely making Coach Brad Underwood job a little bit easier. Miller is a Great complement to junior guard Ayo Dosunmu, who leads the team in scoring and 2nd in rebounds.
Teams no longer can only focus on Dosunmu. He’s not the only creator on the floor. Miller has the ability to stretch the floor and create shots for himself. Miller put the country on notice against North Carolina A&T with a performance of 28 points. Shooting 83% from the field and going 6/8 from 3pt range.
Adam’s start to the season has allowed him to be considered one of the top freshman in the country. Averaging 28 minutes per game, 13 points per game, shooting 50% from the field, 43.2% from 3pt range and 80% from the free-throw line. As Jay Z has said numbers don’t lie!
Miller has struggle a bit in his last two games against Duke, going 3/5 from the field only scoring 9 points. Also, against Baylor he shot 2/11 from the field scoring only 4 points.
I see Mr. Miller adjusting himself as he becomes more equipped with understanding scouting reports. I believe we all can agree Adam Miller is definitely a impact player!
