Today, most people can access vast amount of information. Yet few people know how to process information and use it to their advantage. It has come down to the “what” (information) and the “how” (The management of information). In the world of youth athletics my understanding is; It appears people are Mis-informed.
We have to get parents to understand that: You earn a scholarship, you’re not given a scholarship. We have to change the language that people use. Once you change their language you change their perspective. Over the last six years, I have seen a lot of athletes miss out on opportunities.
There are over 107 Historically Black College’s and Universities In America. Many of these institutions have great Educational & Basketball programs. That are looking for young men and women who are committed to excellence.

HBCUs have played an historical role in enhancing equal educational opportunity for all students.
More than 80 percent of all black Americans who received degrees in medicine and dentistry were trained at the two traditionally black institutions of medicine and dentistry–Howard University and Meharry Medical College. (Today, these institutions still account for 19.7 percent of degrees awarded in medicine and dentistry to black students.)
HBCUs have provided undergraduate training for three fourths of all black persons holding a doctorate degree; three fourths of all black officers in the armed forces; and four fifths of all black federal judges.
HBCUs are leading institutions in awarding baccalaureate degrees to black students in the life sciences, physical sciences mathematics, and engineering.
HBCUs continue to rank high in terms of the proportion of graduates who pursue and complete graduate and professional training.
Power 5 Basketball conferences is only power 5, because we give them power. Mid-level players in Las Vegas must start looking at other alternatives that will give them opportunity to compete.
The list below👇🏾👇🏾 is composed of 53 OUT OF 107 HBCU programs that provide basketball opportunities. We have provided school names, Coaches numbers and emails.
