As I prepare to board my flight back to the west coast from BATTLE AT THE ROCK, I couldn’t stop thinking about 2022 6’9 215 pound power forward Noah Clowney of Roebuck, South Carolina.
Clowney is definitely a prospect to watch. He has a good looking body frame with long arms. Clowney is a little raw on the offensive end; but you can see all the tools are there! The potential to operate at a high level is definitely there; he’s a high motor guy with a lot of energy.
I was extremely impressed with Clowney’s mobility on the defensive side of the ball. He has good hand and eye coordination with the potential to be an elite defender. He’s a tall and long wing that can contest any shot.
Noah is athletic and has the ability to get out in transition and run the floor. He demonstrated good body control as a finish. He showed flashes that he could step outside and knock down shots. By no means is Noah a finished product, I will reiterate he definitely has the tools to be a very good player. There is a lot to like about this young man’s skill set!
I will look for Noah’s recruitment to pick up this spring and summer! At the current moment he has received offers from Virginia Tech, Xavier, and the University of South Carolina Upstate.
