Often times many don’t realize the impact of what one year of prep school can do for some athletes. It literally can give kids an opportunity to develop physically and mentally.
There have been a lot of talks lately on 2022 6’7 215 pounds small forward Amarri Tice of Newburgh, NY. Trice decided to attend one year of prep at South Kent school. His stock is rising quickly with schools like Washington, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iona, St. John’s, East Carolina, Syracuse, and Tulsa recently contacting him.
What really stands out about Amarri is his active motor on the defensive side. He can be very disruptive with ball pressure. Amarri has the potential to be an elite defender. Amarri operates at a high level; an energy guy with good court awareness.
I can see why there’s an uptick in Amarri recruitment. He does a little bit of everything. Amarri demonstrates good dribble penetration with body control as a finisher. He has a solid body frame that can absorb contact.
Overall some school will get a nice two-way player that plays with confidence on both sides of the ball. Amarri Tice is definitely a player to watch this summer!
